The game is located on a Google drive, it is just over 5gb large in a .zip format.

  1. First download the game by clicking the Download button
  2. Google will tell you the file is too large to be scanned for viruses and ask if you want to download anyway, click “download anyway”
  3. Go in to the location where you downloaded the game and use any program you have to extract/unzip the file
  4. Once unzipped enter the file and by double clicking TargetCity_Game.exe the game will start, no installation required

Once you start a game you will get prompted by windows firewall to allow features of the game, since it is Peer to Peer you will have to allow it in order to play. Don’t forget the first time you start the game and before you play to set your Nickname and Player Skin in the preferences tab. The game is built ONLY FOR WINDOWS, and hardware requirements…well it worked fine on i3 9th gen with 1060 ti…anything below that, not tested.

For now, there are 2 major bugs that just couldn’t be fixed due to budget shortage.

  1. Sometimes when you respawn you will end up with someone else’s weapons, but with the Sell option in you inventory you can get rid of those and buy your guns
  2. Sometimes the Clear Presence button will fail and you won’t be able to see games on the list. Exit and start the game again, this fixes that issue

Target City beta demo represents an upgraded version from alpha demo. But the upgrades are mostly related to the mechanics of the game. Visually beta demo is missing a realistic map since the remake of the realistic map was taking to long and mechanics rework needed a map for testing. So, a small low poly map was created instead until the realistic map is finished. But that may not happen any time soon as the low poly version proved to be quite fun to play in. The map is the smallest of the 3 (including alpha demo map), and so is the fastest.
